We have built our product Linkage to support corporates to be catalysts for change. We are adding an advisory and consulting division to leverage our own experience o to support those who desire to use technology to innovate.

Overview

Linkage is building its Cloud Practice. As part of this opportunity, five candidates will be chosen to participate in the program. The candidates will work solely on the program for the first three months to ensure the successful meeting of all milestones. By the end of 2022 the team will start engaging with other companies to guide them through similar journeys. The full program operates for 18 months, after which the team will be designated as Authorized PTP Consultants.

Candidates will gain the following accreditations with AWS during the span of this program:

AWS Partner: Accreditation (Business)
AWS Partner: Accreditation (Technical)
AWS Partner: Cloud Economics Accreditation

The Candidates will gain the following certifications with AWS during the span of this program:

AWS Cloud Practitioner Certifications
AWS Solutions Architect Associate Certifications

The selected team will receive priority support and guidance from C-level management at One Linkage. They will be supplied with the environment and resources to succeed at this high priority project.

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst who wants to move into AWS consulting. This role requires experience in management consulting within the technology industry and to be service orientated. You will work closely with the other candidates as well as the Linkage team under the guidance of Linkage’s CTO. This opportunity will enable you to work with a specialized team of developers and other IT consultants.

Requirements / Experience

General:

2-3 years working experience as a business analyst in the technology industry
CBAP accreditation beneficial
Experience working for Cloud Service Providers (e.g., reseller of cloud licenses) beneficial
Able to produce project documentation based on the requirements of the program
Comfortable with stakeholder engagement to determine required objectives and success factors
Proficient at collaborating with team members to collect, analyze, and evaluate information from various stakeholders
Good understanding of service delivery in the technology industry
Broad understanding of business practices and processes

Expectations

Learning mindset:
- The initial phase of your position will be entirely focused on participating in the PTP and getting your accreditations and certifications. You will be expected to actively participate and manage your own your learning journey to be successful.

Consulting:
- Once accredited, you will be required to be customer facing in a consulting capacity. Customers will look to your team to take them through the PTP process and ensure their cloud practice development and evolution.
Security and client first:
- Security of client data is your priority. You will be privy to customer data that needs to be protected. You need to embody our client-centric ethos required to deliver the quality of service our clients have come to expect.
Communication:
- This is universal, you need to communicate effectively and timeously with the people you work with. People who depend on you should be made aware of your progress and any challenges you are dealing with that may affect them. Clients need to be kept informed and should not have to request updates.
- Ask for help if you need it. Be ready to help others if they need it.
Flexible work:
- Comfortable with communicating with team members and clients virtually using Microsoft Teams.
- Remote work is supported and the office in Johannesburg is available for on site work and meetings.
Service oriented:
