Enterprise Development (ED) and Supplier Development (SD) is one of the three priority elements of the Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) Scorecard. Corporates in South Africa are required to allocate 3% of NPAT towards ESD.
ESD promotes a conducive environment for creation of sustainable partnerships between corporate South Africa and black entrepreneurs to enable access, transformation of the value chains and increase in financial support towards qualifying entities.
We empower ESD and relevant preferential supplier stakeholders to collaborate effectively in SMME development, supplier diversity, localisation of opportunities, and driving Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) No 8: Decent work and Economic Growth in the SMME Sector.
Digitalises ED business processes for SMMEs who are not yet in the supply chain.
Automates the development support for ED programmes run by corporates, incubators and accelerators.
Supports the tracking of the growth of SMMEs through various lifecycles (blue, bronze, silver and gold) with the purpose to move them to platinum (procurement ready) status.
Enables the digitalisation of the SD business process for corporates to work with high potential suppliers who are focused on improving their capabilities and competitiveness for the mutual benefit of both the customer and the supplier already in the supply chain.
This module works effectively in conjunction with the Preferential Procurement module.
