Has the july unrest affected your business?
Support is here!

Message from Hepsy Mkhungo, Linkage CEO & Co-Founder
20 July 2021

Looking back at what has happened across parts of South Africa recently, we realised we needed to act urgently and support fellow SMMEs who have been affected by the unrest.

We know too well how difficult it is to start a business, invest your time and savings, but we cannot claim to know the pain of seeing one’s efforts disappear in one day.

We are doing our part!

The IDC has made funds available to One Linkage to disseminate to businesses who were affected by the July unrest.

One Linkage is sourcing and vetting businesses that were affected by the July unrest and looting to ensure they are eligible for the funding.

These funds are available to the following businesses:

  • Formal and informal businesses
  • Businesses of all B-BBEE levels

Businesses located in townships are strongly encouraged to apply.

Formal and informal businesses

Owners of SMMEs (both formal and informal) of all B-BBEE levels can click here to start the application for funds process.
