IT Program and Compliance Manager

Overview

Linkage is a woman owned tech company that has developed a proprietary cloud-based digital platform to make it easy for corporates to drive supplier diversity through provision of development support, procurement and funding opportunities.

We are looking for an experienced IT Program and Compliance Manager to help grow our Cloud Practice, to provide comprehensive assessments, training and enablement programmes focusing on helping SMMEs to build successful and profitable Cloud Businesses.

Requirements / Experience

  • 3 to 5 years’ experience as a Program and Compliance Manager in Information Technology or Information Security
  • People management, team orientation, ability to network and establish good connections through all business levels;
  • Comfortable with conflict resolution and mediation;
  • Ability to think clearly, pro-actively and act decisively in crises, sense of urgency, high organizing and prioritizing skills;
  • Experience in managing and maintaining data security and other risk related matters especially within cloud compliancy;
  • Strong financial, operations and commerce skills to guide internal and external partners;
  • Comfortable with stakeholder engagement to determine required objectives and success factors;
  • Proficient at collaborating with team members to collect, analyse, and evaluate information from various stakeholders;
  • Good understanding of governance and legal compliance matters;
  • Good understanding of service delivery in the technology industry;
  • Good understanding and appreciation of technical design and business principles;
  • Broad understanding of business practices and processes.
  • A passion for learning and development, guiding others to build both business and technical skills;
  • A passion for guiding delivery of both small- and large-scale projects

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION:

  • A bachelor’s degree in business management, legal studies, business administration, project management or a similar field of study.
  • Program management certification such as PMBOK, Prince, Agile or other similar methodologies

Bonus

  • Experience working for Cloud Service Providers (e.g., reseller of cloud licenses);
  • Experience with conducting legal and compliance workshops;
  • Experience with executing ISO47K or ISO 9000;
  • Familiarity working with Cloud Technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.);
  • AWS Accreditation or Certification.

Expectations

  • Oversee all the skills and processes required to manage Cloud business operations and projects from finance to compliance;
  • Set up processes and governance to manage Programs/Projects across functions;
  • Design, develop, track and monitor all projects, and ensure best practice in customer execution projects in support of the sales and delivery objectives;
  • Provide management with direction and support for information security in accordance with business requirements and relevant laws and regulations
  • Monitor program activities to ensure compliance with internal and external policies and procedures, including quarterly account and activities reviews;
  • Implement Business Continuity Management Software to ensure critical business functions either continue to operate despite serious incidents or are recovered to an operational state within a quick timeframe;
  • Implement Security Management Software that externalizes security policies from applications, enabling users to centralize and simplify application entitlement and fine-grained data access control;
  • Identify and manage privacy, data protection risks, and compliance requirements to help meet stakeholder expectations;
  • Drive operational excellence with the aim to obtain relevant ISO certification;
  • Drive and manage the legal and data security for the company;
  • Set up, manage, maintain and execute a risk and compliance log for both local and global compliance issues;
  • Financial management including but not limited to Cloud cost information, report on and analyse the financial condition of our Cloud services and purchasing options, and drive consumption-based billing.
